Ramona     This is the wine to have with a nice juicy piece of steak!

This is soft on the palate with a punch on the nose. It is pleasant drinking for "wine drinkers of all levels of stiff upper lip-ness". ("Kids of all ages" type of thing - The novice will enjoy it, and it holds some complexity for the more experienced quaffer). We really enjoyed it and would be proud to serve it without any hesitation (especially with steak). Whether it is a "must have" is dependant on the price (for between 50 and 85.) I suspect it is a lot more expensive

Robert     Drinks well now

Now about 5 years old, drinks well now (meaning soft enough) but has a lot of fruit, a very fresh nose and should last another 3 years in a cellar. It is a full bodied wine and is good on its own without food (that was the first glass) and with food (I had the second glass with pizza).

must have

Terroir     Very much worth the journey, Scrumptious.

3 must have 3 liked it It was as smooth as velvet and as tasty as they come, dont miss this one, its definitely no mongrel.....

Joanne Kathleen     Bright red acid - if you like that kind of thing

Me, I like "black" red wines, mellow and smooth. This is a merlot-driven RED wine - a "red" red rather than a "black" red. It's a good wine, very flavourful, but it's just not my style. If you like the bright (one might say 'brash') merlots of RSA, this may really do it for you. But not for me.
